Duke Lacrosse Players Cleared

I'm a little surprised this hasn't been posted already.

The accused players have been exonerated of all charges by an investigation conducted by the state Attorney General's office. They used the strongest language possible and imaginable in saying that the players were innocent and that the prosecutor had acted inappropriately and likely illegally in his pushing these charges.

If you study the case a bit it's clear that more people than just Nifong violated the standard of conduct if not the law. A number of police officers are likely to take a fall also.

This is being described by many experts as a classic case of frame-up and conspiracy. One of the few to ever be fully exposed.

Legal experts expect dozens of lawsuits filed on behalf of the players.

It's about time the let those poor guys off the hook, anytime someones reputation if slaughtered by a false statement, i really sympathize with those guys and it is pathetic that this went on as long as it did.
It was obvious that they were innocent especially when the stupid girl started changing her story, i guess thats what we get for trying to be a politically correct nation that wont step on anyones toes. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

If somebody gets hold of Jesse and Al's e-mail address, please let me know. I probably had my doubts about their innocence a year ago (which shows my stupidity) but these two clowns [censored] near created a race war in Durham. I wonder if they will have to go on TV, in front of the three accused players, and say, "I'm sorry. We did not give you due process. We convicted you in the court of public opinion and used race to sway people's attitudes." If Don Imus is going to keep on getting crucified, these two chuckleheads (not a racial or sexist term) should face the same intense scrutiny. While I think Imus' comments are mean and detrimental to race relations, the women from Rutgers didn't get kicked out of school, get arrested, and live a year under the microscope. Niphong, the cops, Big Al, and Jesse and the Rainbows should have to pay dearly.
